MHN: Coping with Anxiety
HR0663 - Anxiety is a normal part of life. It is an innate biological reaction - the body's way of telling us something isn't right. Anxiety reactions keep us from harm's way and help us react quickly to danger. If fear and anxiety become overwhelming, persistent or interfere with regular activities, though, an anxiety disorder may be the underlying cause. This workshop explores symptoms and treatments of the different types of anxiety disorders.
