HR0723- An analyst’s work product needs to be clear, concise, logical, and correct. The first step in meeting these requirements is to plan effectively before writing—the best planners are the best writers. This class will help you analyze and organize your writing project, as well as help you choose the most effective way to present completed staff work to your audience.
Writing Skills for Analysts helps participants learn how to become more competent and confident writers, to overcome writer’s block, to employ critical thinking, and to communicate using clear, concise, and correct language.

- Organize thoughts and write with purpose and conviction
- Effectively plan for audience, purpose, message, and tone
- Incorporate logic / critical thinking in your writing
