2nd Annual California Garlic Festival
Vampires, Beware!
Get ready for the 2nd Annual California Garlic Festival at the San Joaquin County Fairgrounds on August 5th and 6th. The family-friendly event celebrates local entertainment, community leadership, agriculture, and, of course, garlic. The festival will introduce “Cali Garlic Alley,” offering mouthwatering dishes like Garlic Fries, Garlic Pesto Pasta, and Garlic Mushroom and Onion Bread Bowls. Don’t miss out on the unique sweet treat, Maple Brown Sugar Garlic Ice Cream!
The festival will have something for everyone, including a Show and Shine Car Display, interactive cooking demonstrations, local entertainment on the community stage, the Miss California Garlic Festival Scholarship Pageant & Princess Program, the Lovecchio Market fruit stand, and the market selling local goods, monster truck rides, a farm-friendly petting zoo, photography contests, a carnival, and much more.
Enjoy the entertainment and delicious dishes while relaxing in shaded seating areas throughout the venue. Festival food vendors will offer a wide array of garlic-infused menu items, and various booths will showcase goods and services.
Gather your family and create lasting memories at this delightful event. The festival runs from 12 pm to 7 pm on both Saturday and Sunday, with admission fees of $15 for adults, $10 for children aged 6-17, and free entry for seniors 65+, military personnel with ID, and children aged 5 and under. Parking is available for $10 in cash. More information can be found at https://www.cagarlicfestival.com.
