Part Time Employee Information

Part-time employees may become eligible for health benefits after completing at least one year of County service (measurement period). Eligibility is determined based on the total number of hours worked during that period.

Employees who work an average of 25–29.9 hours per week (1,300 hours annually) qualify for Plan C health coverage.

Once eligibility is met, the Benefits Team will contact you directly with enrollment information and next steps.

For employees who work an average of 30 or more hours/week in the measurement period, these employees get access to all plans available to full time employees.

 

 

NOTE: County pays 80% for employee-only medical and employee pays 20%. Below groups can’t enroll a spouse but can enroll dependent children at full premium cost. No Dental/Vision coverage is offered.
